Students participated in ‘SANJH – HARYANA KI SANSKRITI KI JHALAK’

VENUE: O P JINDAL MEMORIAL PARK, MILL GATE, HISAR
Thirty students of Fine Arts Club and Botanical Garden Club from different
classes visited O P Jindal Memorial Park to attend a cultural programme SANJH –
HARYANA KI SANSKRITI KI JHALAK along with teacher escorts Mr. Abhimanyu
and Ms Neelam Sharma. Ma’am Principal Shalini Mehrotra also graced the
occasion. The timing was 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Ma’am Savitri Jindal and Ma’am
Deepika Jindal were Guest of Honour.
We reached at 2:45 pm and were warmly welcomed by the organisers. Students
visited handicraft exhibition stalls displaying the craft and culture of Haryana.
The programme started at 3:30 pm. Haryanvi Dance was full of zeal and vigour
and was well appreciated by everyone. The next item was SAANG – Musical
drama native to Haryana.
Saang is an entertaining method for local people just like theater in Haryana.
They narrated the story of Lord Shiva and Parvati through Saang. Then there was
a live musical performance by Mr. P. Sherawat. He mesmerized us with his
amazing voice and performed many motivational songs. In last he sang some
songs on public demand.
At last the gathering was addressed by Ma’am Deepika Jindal and Savitri Jindal Ji.
Students were served with delicious refreshment and we reported back at 5:45
pm.
