Vidya Devi Jindal School leaves no stone unturned, when it comes to enthusing a sense of pride, and ownership towards one house. Keeping this in mind ‘House Nite’ a cultural extravaganza showcasing the hidden talents of students was organised on 6th and 7th October wherein the four houses, Sarojini and Kasturba, Laxmibai and Savitri presented a mesmerising show that was out of the world. Dance drama, songs, walking the ramp, you name it and it was there. Students presented scintillating performances one after the other to enthral the audience. ‘Kasturba House Nite’, was a perfect blend of tradition, fun and modernity! The evening started with a Ganesh Vandana. As the night unfolded, voices mixed and mingled in Hindi, Punjabi, and English, creating a musical mix. There were songs, dance anthems, The fashion show had the models strutting their outfits that ranged from traditional elegance to abstract designs. ‘Sarojini House Nite’ was an absolute riot of fun and entertainment! It started with a hilarious Chinki Minki drama performance that had everyone rolling with laughter, setting the tone for the evening. And who could resist the infectious charm of a Baby Shark dance? Nightingale Singing Stars, serenaded the audience with their magical voices, and the dazzling dances that added a burst of color and excitement.
Students of Savitri house delivered a truly captivating performance that left the audience spellbound. From a fashion show that nearly converted the auditorium into a runway in Milan, they managed to transmit the audience back to their childhood with the Cartoon Dance featuring Ninja Hathori, Mickey Mouse and more. Right from the word ‘Go’ Laxmibians unleashed mind-blowing dance performances ranging from sizzling Western moves to Nepali Dance and Bhangra. Akshita allured
one and all with her melodious rendition. The entire show was planned, prepared and presented by students of the four houses with very little intervention from their house in charges. The house prefects of the four houses presented the annual house report
too.
