Round Square International Conference
A delegation of five students along with the RS Representative, Ms Anindita Sinha, attended the prestigious Round Square International Conference at Nairobi, Kenya, from 8th -14th October hosted by the Brookhouse Schools, Nairobi.
The Conference, with the theme- ‘New Africa,’ commenced with a motivational talk by the Former First Lady of Kenya, Ms Kenyatta, that truly inspired the delegates. The Braza sessions with a renowned panelist, the Ambassador, Ms Ammena Mohammad, led to in-depth discussions on the fundamental right of ‘Democracy’. On the ‘Service Day,’ Jindalites actively participated in the renovation work of a government school and interacted with the local students. During their stay, the delegates visited the Nairobi National Park and attended the grand concert by the Kenyan Band, ‘Sauti Sau’. The scenic beauty of Naruku, the boating at Lake Naivisha, Safari at Masai Mara with the African elephant, lion, leopard, cape buffalo, and rhinoceros for the company, and the learning about the traditions and culture of the tribal people at Masai village have created for Jindalites an album of blissful memories enriched with the insights and understanding about an exotic country, Kenya.
