Students of Vidya Devi Jindal School reigned supreme by lifting the championship trophy at Dharohar Fest at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior. VDJS bagged the overall winner’s trophy and received 1st position in Rabari embroidery, 1st position in solo singing Sugam Sangeet, 2nd position in Bandhej, 2nd position in Ajrakh Block Printing, 2nd position in Bhavai, 2nd position in folk dance, and 3rd position in trifold brochure. VDJS also received a cheque of one lakh rupees. Students from 15 prestigious schools all across the country participated in the mega event. Sh. Umang Hutheesing, Founding President, of Hutheesing Heritage Foundation, was the Chief Guest, and the panel of judges, comprised of Prof. Guru Dr. Parul Shah, Sh. Bharatsinh Bariya, Sh. Akshay Patel, and Sh. Piyu Gadhvi. In the days following, as the competitions progressed, the Jindalites put all their efforts into performing their best, and it definitely paid off! The closing ceremony was held on April 20 followed by the award ceremony that echoed the name of VDJS!
