Hyderabad Excursion

Students from  Classes  IV-VI embarked on a five-day excursion to Hyderabad from 17th-22nd November, to explore its history and culture and to enhance their self-confidence and foster a sense of teamwork and community. The visit to Tank Bund, Hussain Sagar Lake, and NTR Gardens, fostered an understanding of urban ecosystems and the importance of preserving natural spaces within cities among girls. While marvelling at the Charminar, and the opulent Chowmahalla Palace and exploring the bustling Laad Bazaar, Jindalites learned about Mughal and Nizam heritage, architectural styles, and historical trade practices. Visits to the Qutb Shahi Tombs and the captivating Light and Sound Show at Golconda Fort deepened their appreciation of historical architecture and its stories.

Students toured the grand sets, and witnessed stunt shows, at the cinematic magical world of Ramoji Film City and participated in acting skits. These activities nurtured creativity among girls and an understanding of the film-making process.  The Salar Jung Museum gave an insight into global art and historical artifacts to Jindalites, exhorting the significance of cultural preservation. At Shilparamam, interactions with artisans helped them appreciate traditional crafts and the role of artisans in cultural continuity. The immersive planetarium show at the Birla Art Gallery and interactive Science exhibits ignited curiosity about Science, space, and artistic expression.

The journey of exploration, intellectual enrichment, and camaraderie bestowed upon the students a profound appreciation for the cultural heritage and artistic ingenuity of Hyderabad.
