A state-of-the-art infrastructural facility supports and enhances the process of teaching learning in a school. VDJS Academic Block houses 28 air-conditioned classrooms, 09 laboratories, 14 departments, 05 offices, and a Learning Resource Centre. CLASSROOMS  Classrooms at VDJS are spacious, well-lit, and well-ventilated spaces. The classrooms are designed and equipped with the modern teaching facilities. Each classroom is furnished with comfortable tiered furniture for a seating of 30 students. Interactive boards, projector, Wi-Fi internet access enables the space for a joyful and enriching learning experience. WELL – EQUIPPED LABORATORIES The school provides to the students, the usage of the laboratories of Tinkering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Language, Computer, and Psychology equipped with the most modern apparatus. These well-equipped Labs encourage students to learn through hands on experience and research. The two IT labs comprising of 93 computers and 40 N-Computing client connected with centralized server are being utilized by all subject teachers to integrate IT in their teaching by giving research work, presentations etc. VDJS is one among the selected 457 schools from all over India to receive a grant of Rs 12 lakh from the Government of India for establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratory under Niti Ayog’s Atal Innovation Mission. The objective is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mind-set, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, rapid calculations, measurements etc. ATL is a workspace where young girls get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. DEPARTMENTS The school has an excellent Guidance and Counselling and Special Education Needs departments that assist students with their courses and college choices and help students with special learning needs. Art and Sculpture Department fosters the artistic talents of the students. The Music Department equipped with various musical instruments, helps to discover the talents for music among the students. The school boasts of an orchestra and school band par excellence which performs at all major school functions. The Dance department has assisted in developing the instinct for dancing so innate in most girls and has produced many a performance for annual prize distribution function and inter-house cultural festival. The well-equipped Home Science department trains not only those students who have opted for Home Science as a subject, but also refines the culinary skills of those students who take up cooking and baking as a hobby. The costume department with its wide variety of apparels and accessories caters to the requirement of the school during all school functions and celebrations. English, Hindi, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, and Physical Education departments are hubs of learning where the intellectual discourse is a common feature. LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER The LRC is airy, pleasant, and spacious with comfortable furniture providing a tranquil and serene atmosphere, so essential for reading. It endeavours to develop the reading habit and the appreciation of literature among VDJS girls. It is well stocked with a wide range of about 17000 books to meet the demands and taste of every age group. The various reference books on every subject help the students’ to acquire in-depth knowledge and also develop independence in solving problems. The LRC subscribes to a large number of newspapers, magazines and periodicals, thus keeping the girls in touch with happenings in India and in the outside world. Book fairs and Authors’ Meet are regular feature of the VDJS Learning Resource Centre. In addition to this, girls attend Jaipur Literary Fest every year.
