An awareness program on Financial Literacy under the guidelines of CBSE was organised at VDJS for the teachers on February 01, 2023, as a Hub of Learning activity of CBSE. Around 120 teachers from VDJS and other hub schools attended the program. The resource person, Mr. Rohit Kumar Jain, a certified Financial Advisor by the National Institute of Financial Markets guided how educators can plan their finances to ensure a life of security and dignity after retirement by wisely investing in mutual funds, government bonds, and other promising sectors. He also deliberated the legal financial issues that one confronts with family members. In the highly interactive session, the queries were addressed and it helped the attendees in channelising their financial interests.
