NCC Cadets observe Constitution Pakhwada

The NCC cadets of Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar celebrated the Constitution Pakhwada from November 26- December 10. The observance commenced on November 26 on the occasion of Constitution day with an educational talk on the Constitution and the Preamble. It was a very enriching session, which ended with the participation of cadets in an online quiz on mygov.in wherein they received digital certificates. In the course of the online NCC classes the cadets were made aware of the Fundamental duties and they had enlightened discussions on the same. 42 cadets participated in online Preamble reading and Pledge taking and received digital certificates also. The other activities of the fortnight included poster making, ppt making, poem recitation and declamation on the theme of constitution. The children of support staff were also educated about the Preamble and helped to attain the digital certificate. In view of the pandemic the all essential information about hygiene, use of masks and hand wash was dispensed by the cadets to the families of support staff. Our girls feel a lot more aware and appreciative of the Constitution after an engaging fortnight of activities.
