House Motto: Love

Sarojini House is named after the Nightingale of India, Smt. Sarojini Naidu, who was a great poetess and an important figure in India’s struggle for Independence from British Raj. She was a proponent of civil rights, women’s emancipation, and anti-imperialistic ideas.

The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds and that is what the house gives to every Sarojinite.

We believe in dreaming, believing, and achieving our goals. Our House colour is Green. Green signifies a positive change, good health, growth, fertility, healing, hope, vigour, vitality, peace, and serenity. The appearance of the colour may also be a way of telling us to “go ahead”.

We make sure that every girl in the house develops the good qualities of being independent, responsible, persistent, broad mindedness, sympathy, and helpfulness. Every girl is being encouraged, supported, and provided the opportunity to excel and explore in her field of interests so that her dreams come true.
