To honour the altruistic guides of life, VDJS celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September, in the School Auditorium. Organised by Class XII, the event kicked off with the sparkling and heads-turning entry of the teachers, adorned in the themed attire for the occasion- ‘Shades of Pink’. The educators were invited to put their star imprints on a blank canvas, marking the day with ecstasy and felicity. The auditorium was soon filled with flurries of laughs and gaieties as Class XII unfolded compelling performances one after the other. It was a medley of mind-blowing artistic stints, which included dance, singing, and stand-ups. The teachers and students enjoyed a variety of enticing games and activities which kept the excitement quotient of the auditorium soaring really high. The gala function came to a close with the Principal’s address, wherein, Naina Ma’am shared the significance and uniqueness of being a teacher, which was followed by the cake-cutting ceremony. And what happened next was a never-ending photo shoot of the teachers with the students and relishing moments of the special sweets and savouries of the day.
