The four-day jamboree of strategic kicks and covetous confederation of speed, strength, and players, the All India IPSC Football Tournament U-14 2024-25, rounded off on 31st August at VDJS Football ground. Major General S. S. Nair, AVSM (Retd.), Director of the Birla Education Trust in Pilani, Rajasthan, honoured the ceremony with his presence as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon with a lily sapling.
Having proved their mettle in the previous matches, the two teams of Vidya Devi Jindal School and Birla Balika Vidyapeeth battled fiercely. It was a superb display of skills, endurance, strength, courage, determination, and confidence that filled the ambiance of VDJS with harmony and solidarity. Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, ultimately triumphed with a score of 2-1.
The teams from six prestigious schools, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, Daly College, Indore, Pinegrove School, Solan, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, and VDJS, Hisar were applauded for their display of unfathomable enthusiasm and game spirit as they marched and lined up in the ground. The Chief Guest, Major General Nair felicitated the teams and players who outplayed, outscored, and outlasted everyone else. The energy, the coaches and the managers, serving as the guiding pillars, received mementos with participation certificates from the Chief Guest. In his address to the gathering, Major General Nai applauded the relentless grit of the players. He asserted to take defeats as an inspiration to reach for higher goals and officially declared the IPSC Football Tournament Girls’ Under 14 closed.
