The Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon along with the RS Rep. Ms Anindita Sinha embarked on a two-day visit to Eminent TT Girls’ College, Soda Village, Tonk, Rajasthan from 1st-2nd May to further the cause of Social Service under the auspices of Round Square. Numerous rounds of discussions were held with Ms Chavi Rawat, the ex-Sarpanch of the Soda village to take stock of the services and aid required for the betterment of the college in terms of infrastructure, education and career prospects of girl students from underprivileged backgrounds. The constructive dialogue with the Principal of the college, Dr Preeti Bhatnagar, led to a groundbreaking proposal put up by the VDJS’ Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon, to offer internships to the graduates of the B.Ed. programme of the college, and subsequently the exceptional interns would be eligible to apply for teaching posts at VDJS, Hisar. The catalystic visit laid out the road map for the inception and execution of the Social Service Project at the Eminent TT Girls’ College.
