Rightly said, “Experience comes with excursions.” And to realise the same 27 Jindalites of Classes VIII & IX with 3 Teacher Escorts, Mr Kshatriya Sandeep Kumar, Ms Supriya Pathak and Ms Pinky Kumari explored the picturesque Himalayan lake town of Nainital Assisted by  Edterra Edventures from March 19 to March 25. After a marathon journey, the girls were greeted by the gorgeous mountains and sparkling lakes at Mukteshwar. The Students dared to step out of their comfort zone and ventured out for Jumaring, Flying Fox, and Burma Bridge. Bemused by the breathtaking views of the surroundings the girls were nourished with pahadi cuisines. Girl’s curious footsteps took them to forested trails, the highest peak of Mukteshwer, Nanda Devi, Chawli ki Jaali, Naini Lake, Bhalugarh Falls, Bheemtaal Lake, Naina Devi Temple, Bhowali’s Tea Gardens, the Tibetan market, Mall Road and the majestic rope route to the snow viewpoint. Ravishing musical bonfires, complemented with scrumptious snacks made every ordinary moment extraordinary, and the girls returned from the trip seasoned with the ways of the world, courage, gratitude for mother nature and esprit de corps.
