CBSE Capacity Building Workshop
Two staff members, Mr SR Ganti and Mr Vinayak Mohan attended a ‘CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on Portfolio Maintenance’ at Vashisht Public School, Una on 23rd November. The resource person, Mr Vega Sharma, highlighted the need for changing assessment pattern for the rapidly changing world today. He explained in detail the process of portfolio making and the points to keep in mind while maintaining it throughout the session. It was followed by a discussion on Bloom’s taxonomy and the need for greater clarity among the teachers on the type of questions as per the taxonomy. He exhorted the teachers to prepare question papers with greater weightage given to questions pertaining to the higher order of Bloom’s Taxonomy in order to make the students future ready.
