A two-day workshop, Vartah-National Counselor’s Summit, was organised by GD Goenka University and Fortis Mental Healthcare, Gurugram on the 21st and 22nd of July at GD Goenka University. Senior Counsellor, Ms Parul Vij along with counsellors from across the country attended the enriching workshop. The eminent experts, Dr Sameer Parikh, Fortis, Prof. Jonathan Ramsey, JCU Singapore, Dr Manjula Batra, Northcap University, and Dr Lynda Hutchinson, King’s University Canada shared their valuable insights on well-curated topics like the importance of psychological first-aid in schools, the role of teachers, families, and Counsellors as an agent of change, self-esteem in the context of Mitigating Risk- Taking Behaviours and many more. The session concluded with the felicitation of the participants by the Vice Chancellor, GDGU at the Valedictory ceremony.
