Dussehra Celebrations
VDJS celebrated the triumph of good over evil – Dussehra, on 24th October, 2023 with great fervour and enthusiasm. The students and staff dolled up in colourful Indian ethnics. To keep the tradition going, under the guidance of the Hindi Department, the students of Classes IV – VIII gave a stellar performance of Ram Leela in the track field followed by the auspicious ‘Raavan Dehen’. The school enjoyed a variety of delicacies that waited for them in the newly introduced, Gala Dinner, in the hockey field. The day of festivities concluded with a lifelong learning of befriending the humility of Lord Rama and not the arrogance of Ravana by the Jindalites.
