The members of the Faculty attended a two day Online Workshop on Preparing School for Competency Based Education held on 17 & 18 October 2020. The workshop was conducted by National Accreditation Board of Education and Training (NABET) a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI). The objective was to help educators bring about tangible improvement in quality of learning outcomes of students and further making learning outcomes compatible with international benchmarks. In the course of the two days the faculty learnt the theoretical underpinning of Competency-based Education and its major constituents and pillars. Some of the other learnings were understanding the relation between Bloom’s Taxonomy and Dimension of Knowledge and acquiring the skill to make learning outcome measurable.
