On 25th August, 105 students of Classes VI and VII along with eight teacher escorts went on a day long excursion to Kurukshetra. The objective was to acquaint the students with the historical and mythological significance of the place with reference to the Mahabharata and the story of Lord Krishna.

Students visited the Science Panorama where the learnt about various discoveries and geology. The tableaux of Mahabharata brought to life the episodes pertaining to the conflict of the Kauravas and Pandavas and the 18 day war that ensued as a consequence. The students also visited the main attraction of Kurukshetra; the Krishna museum where through paintings and artefacts they learnt about the life of Lord Krishna. Thereafter the girls visited the mausoleum of Sufi saint Shekhchilli. They also saw the Mughal garden, mosque and museum which is there in the vicinity.

It was a truly educative visit which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
