An online Vasudha: The Earth Fest was organized by Vidya Devi Jindal
School on the occasion of Earth Day. Through the Microsoft Platform students were asked to share posters, poems in Hindi and English, articles Hindi and English, photographs on Nature, Online debate in English and Quiz. The students participated in this online Earth Fest very enthusiastically by giving beautiful messages of environmental conservation.True to its vision this year too the main aim of the Fest was to sensitise the young minds towards sustainable development. More than 120 students from the classes IX to XII sent the entries for the fest. One of the Posters Made by Nistha Jain of class XC was selected by the Center for Science and Environment for their famous magazine for kids titled ‘Gobar Times’. The 3 best poems in Hindi and English and three best posters on the theme SaveEarth was submitted to District Education Officer Hisar. It was heartening to
see the enthusiastic and largescale participation of students even during lockdown.
