O. P. Jindal Modern School organised a Science conclave, ‘Sankshetra– a Realm of Science’ on 28^th January, 2023. Ms Erina Mehta and Ms Neelam Sharma attended the conclave based on the theme, ‘Lateral Extensions of the NCERT Syllabus to Promote Scientific Temperament’ and ‘Vertical Alignment of the CBSE Syllabus vis-a-vis Competitive Examinations’. Around 75 teachers from various schools of Hisar took part in the event. The conclave emphasised evolving pedagogical methodology and the significance of inculcating scientific temperament in students from an early age. The session also deliberated the challenge of the dissemination of the designated syllabus conflicting with the challenge of the competitive exams. The teachers participated in a number of hands-on Science activities and immensely benefitted from the enriching conclave.
