National Science Day was celebrated on 28^th February &  1^st March at VDJS to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by the Indian physicist, Sir C. V. Raman. A plethora of activities were organised for the students to spread awareness about the significance of scientific applications in day-to-day life. PPTs on various scientists were displayed and an Online Quiz was conducted by  ‘STEM and SPACE’ on Kahoot for young curious learners. A special assembly was also conducted to enlighten the students about the theme of NSD 2023- Global Science for Global Wellbeing- and its purpose of raising public interest and concern for the scientific issues that have a bearing upon global wellbeing.
