A virtual session, ‘POCSO Torch Bearer’ was organized by Right Side Story on 28th April. The School Counsellors, Ms Nisha Kumari and Ms Parul Vij attended the session aimed at spreading awareness about the POCSO Act to ensure child safety on the school Campus. During the session, the experts deliberated the intentions and the endeavors of the Ministry of Women and Child Development in the implementation of the Act to confront the sexual exploitation of minors via rigorous judicial safeguards. The attendees were also sensitised about the Juvenile Justice Act and the Special Courts that look into the crimes of sexual assault, harassment, and pornography.
