A session on ‘Design Thinking & Innovation for Creating a Better Future’ was piloted by Prof. Sunil Sangra, Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, on 8th May in the Auditorium for the staff. Mr Sangra apprised the attendees in detail how Design Thinking is a unique innovation as it focuses on ideation processes that are solution-based and user-centric rather than problem-based. Assisted by thought-provoking visual presentation and group activities, the session equipped the staff with an enriched understanding of the five pillars of Design Thinking- Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test- and how they can be implemented in the teaching-learning process at the school level.
