Team VDJS clinched the Champions trophy in the highly anticipated All India IPSC Girls U-17 Pre-Subroto Cup Football Tournament Qualifiers organised by The Sanskar Valley School, Bhopal, from 28th June -3rd July. Around 10 renowned schools and 180 students from across India took part in the tournament of strategy and talent. Jindalites clinched victory against Pinegrove School, Solan, in the Finals with a stunning score of 2-0! Both the goals were scored by the phenomenal star player, Shristi, who was also honoured as the ‘Most Valuable Player ’ of the Final Match. A special shoutout to Praneeta Khemka for bagging the ‘Top Scorer Trophy’ of the tournament, leading with an incredible eleven goals. The U-17 Football Squad of Girls has earned the prestigious honour of representing VDJS in the upcoming Subroto Cup International Football Tournament to be held in Delhi.
Five outstanding players of the school – Samriddhi Rai, Tamanna Dhanda, Karshana Periwal, Praneeta Khemka, and Shristi – have been selected for the U-17 SGFI National Team. Kudos to the hard work and commitment of Jindalites!!!
