The renowned life-skill coach and the Director of Doon Girls School, Ms Monisha Datta, steered a session on ‘Soft Skills Essential for Educators.’ Ms Datta commenced the session with a discussion on ‘soft skills’ being non-technical skills and how they are traits that can be mastered with a receptive mindset. The detailed session, assisted by a powerful digital presentation, and interesting activities for the attendees, highlighted the significance of active listening in promoting imagination and creativity among individuals, time management, effective communication skills, team-building skills, interactive skills, interpersonal skills, adaptability, conflict resolution, integrity, leadership and many more in adding value to the profession of educators.
