Young minds are illuminated under the guidance of dedicated individuals with profound knowledge.  Such influential teachers cultivate students’ ambitions and fuel their pursuits towards success. To celebrate their invaluable and unconditional support, Class XII organised a lively morning on 5th September 2024, for VDJS staff. Teachers’ Day unfolded the admiration of students for their teachers as they gracefully dressed up and displayed a series of commendable performances, unleashing a sense of affection and appreciation almost tangible in nature. The challenging ‘Truth or Dare’ escalated the excitement of students and the nervousness of teachers with engaging games for them featuring hilarious impersonations, tricky tongue twisters, crafting witty poems, and a lot more that busted barrels of laughs. From a vibrant Gidda to the uplifting Retro dances, students packed the auditorium with cheerful echoes and excitement. The heartfelt address and warm verses of the poem delivered by the students curated a moment of deep significant connection as they expressed their reverence for teachers and unveiled their sincere experiences. The atmosphere was further buzzed with the band’s electrifying performance and an infusion of Western and Bollywood music display where the ‘swaying winds’ of the West met the ‘Sapno ki raani’ of the East.  As the sweet aromas filled the air, the Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon, inaugurated ‘The Chocolate Vault’, a charity-based initiative by Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community to raise funds for children’s welfare, presenting homemade chocolates prepared by the students and teachers eagerly participated in the delectable bidding. The day marked a memorable celebration of teachers’ unwavering mentorship.
