A splendid reflection of the journey of growth, learning, and endless joyful moments of friendship, and camaraderie of the outgoing Batch of Class XII, 2024-25 was maneuvered by Class XI as they bid farewell to them on 18th December in the auditorium.
The evening witnessed a constellation of divas in magnificent traditional attires and was warmly welcomed with pleasant tokens of appreciation. The farewell commenced with a beautiful vibgyor of graceful semi-classical movements that captivated every eye in the auditorium. Girls’ moves on Punjabi music and the platter of piping hot songs from Bollywood and Hollywood set the night on fire. The ‘Dare Game’ challenges, ranging from dance to mimicry, and a fun round of questions about fond memories took the spectators on a ride of surprises and plenteous laughs. The melodious group singing captured the essence of the school’s spirit and invited the audience to join in the melody. Some teachers expressed their fondness and best wishes for the outgoing batch and girls of Class XII shared their growth journey in VDJS in poetic and prose form.
The Pageant Competition radiated with poised and polished demonstrations of elegance and sophistication and well-informed cordial responses from Class XII that had the audience reflect on the school journey and the experiences that made it special. The title of ‘Miss VDJS’ was awarded to Astryl Nazareth, who captivated everyone with her elegance and wit.
The evening drew to a poignant close as the Principal, Ms. Naina Dhillon, delivered eloquent words of encouragement and heartfelt best wishes to the Class XII students, and lauded the commendable efforts of Class XI in curating an event of exceptional grandeur. The day reached its crescendo with a lavish dinner and an electrifying jam session, etching a lasting impression of unity, vivacity, and music.
