Mr. Min Bahadur joined the Jindal group way back in 1983 as a bearer in a steel plant guest house. When VDJS school was being planned and construction started then the site engineer needed someone to  provide Tea/ refreshment at site as this place was remote and away from city. Min bahadur, a 16 year old young boy was sent here by Bauji ( O P Jindal Sir) on the request of site engineer. He was quick to grasp his duties and became a favourite of staff working here. He was praised by all for his ever-ready service with his smile. After two years when school was completed and students arrived, he was Co-opted in the dining hall where he worked with same passion and dedication and became headwaiter. To date old Alumni who visit school remember him and praise his incredible services when they were student here. In fact, many who have come to school after nearly 20 years also remember him and ask for him by name. later with advancing age he was appointed guest house in charge where he worked dedicatedly till near his retirement. Min Bahadur’s family, besides his wife, has three daughters and one son. all three daughters are married and upbringing their families while his son has done his class 12th and now studying Korean and hopes to do a career in South Korea, we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
