A delegation comprising four House Prefects and Teachers in charge, Mr Vijay Kumar Sobhani & Ms. Gunjan Kaushik from VDJS participated in the ‘Student Leadership Workshop’ held at Doon School, Dehradun, and facilitated by the Boarding Schools Association of India (BSAI) from 5th-8th May. The 4-day intensive workshop aimed to equip student leadership with the necessary skills, knowledge, and practices to lead their peers. Fun sessions were steered wherein various eminent speakers coached the attendees about leadership qualities, smooth management, and social skills. Discussions, debates and group activities were organised to orient the young leaders about the pros as well as the various pitfalls of the role, the privileges of responsibility, and the usage of power. The insightful workshop offered a 360-degree understanding of leadership principles to the students.
