Jindalites celebrated the triumph of Rama, the righteous, over the ten-headed demon king Ravana, the evil-minded, with reverence to reiterate the timeless principle of victory of good over evil on 12th October in the track field. Ms Nandita Sahu, the Principal, Jindal Modern School, and Mr. Prahlad Singh Chaudhary, Associate Vice President, HR Jindal Stainless Limited, graced the festival as guests. Directed by the Hindi Department, Jindalites were captivated by the VDJS staff’s spectacular enactment of ‘Ramleela’. The Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon, performed the Aarti of Shri Ram, Sita, and Lakshmana and the majestic effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath, created by the Art Department, were set alight by the dignitaries. The vigorous celebration rounded off with Jindalites dancing to the traditional songs to mark the defeat of immorality, arrogance, and false play.
