The little champs of Classes IV-VII explored the heights of Himachal Pradesh in Shimla and Kufri with their Teacher Escorts- Mr Dhrigpal Singh Sajwan, Mr Chandramohan Rawat, Ms Aishwarya Bhardwaj and Ms Radhika from 19th – 25th March. The troupe of 41 girls landed at the scenic Mashobra Camp and immediately went for a change of plan owing to heavy rainfall. Jindalites rocked during the indoor activities of learning the usage and tying of ropes and knots and the fun games. The daunting Burma Bridge and Ziplining, Rappelling, and Valley Crossing were attempted by the girls with an unprecedented rise in spirits. The numerous hikes were spiced up with the tiny joys of self-cooking of mighty Maggi in the midst of the forest, roasting potatoes in coal, and the mirthful bonfire party. Jindalites charted the alpine Hamlet of Kufri by road and galloped on the bumpy horses to bow down to the grand snow-laden Himalayan Mountain peaks. The captivating sight of Leopards and Himalayan Bear at Kufri Zoo, Uttarakhand’s state bird, the Himalayan Monal, and learnings at the Indian Institute of Advance Studies rendered the girls awestruck. The visit to Jhaku Temple left the Jindalites brimming with reverence and joviality. The trip gifted the girls a treasure trove of memories to cherish for a lifetime.
