Five students (Shreshtha Sagar, Naina Jain, Jitika Balodia, Ishika Yadav and Arpandeep) along with teacher escort Ms. Parul Dhingra attended the Regional Round Square Conference (RRSC) at The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal from 7th- 10th September. The theme of the conference was “Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes”.

In the midst of heavy rains and the lush green city, the conference was attended by 20 schools for all over the country with around 200 student delegates. Abiding by the theme of the conference, it included key note speeches by famous change makers- Mr. Jeroninio Almeida (founder iCONGO) and Mr. Satyajit Bhatkal (associated with the TV show Satyamev Jayate). Small service endeavors were also a part of the three day schedule which included feeding the support staff members of the school and making seed balls for planting. In order to help the students socialize, there were ice breaking sessions, a leadership seminar and Baraza sessions too. The fun accelerated during the socials events like Jashn-e-Bharat. The students visited the Tribal Museum and Van Vihar to witness the astounding beauty of the city.

The entire conference helped the students to realise the simple truth that to bring about a change, wise actions are required, and to act sustainably and in a committed manner, belief is indispensable.
