The International Women’s Day was celebrated in school on the 7 of March, as 8th was a holiday. The entire staff gathered at the cafeteria where Principal Ms Mehrotra spoke about the important role played by women in various walks of life. She emphasized how in an ideal world men and women complement each other and that it is important for them to work in perfect harmony with mutual respect. Expressing appreciation for the work culture at VDJS she complemented the staff for the way they work together as a family. She also shared that henceforth we will also celebrate International Men’s Day with equal gusto. Thereafter everyone enjoyed a spread of sumptuous snacks. The girls also enjoyed the special refreshment and the Board display of women achievers.
