The students of grade VI cherished an organic farm visit with their English teacher where they enlisted the vegetables, greens and herbs planted there. Students also interacted with the care takers of the farm about their general wellbeing, time they have spent in VDJS and understood the plant cycle from sowing of the seeds to harvesting the mature greens. The caretakers shared with the students about the supply of carrots, cucumber, beetroot, cauliflower, spinach, fenugreek, brinjals, and Indian gooseberry in the school kitchen from where the fresh handpicked veggies are served to the students. At the end of the visit the students drafted their event report as their class task.
