A group of eighteen students escorted by Mr Rohit Sharma and Ms Poonam Chauhan visited London to attend Oxford Mun from 19th November till 25th of November. The week-long trip to London and Oxford was a remarkable blend of cultural exploration, intellectual engagement, and personal growth. It began with a packed itinerary in London, featuring visits to iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the British Museum, and the vibrant shopping district of Oxford Street. We also enjoyed breathtaking views from the London Eye, a fascinating underwater experience at the Sea Life Aquarium, and the thrill of interactive storytelling at the London Dungeon. A performance of The Lion King at a renowned theatre added a touch of artistic brilliance to our experience.
A key highlight of the trip was the prestigious Oxford Model United Nations (MUN). Held at the historic Examination Schools of Oxford University, the event provided an enriching platform for intellectual debates, collaboration, and global networking. Participants engaged in committee sessions addressing critical global issues, culminating in a grand Closing Ceremony where outstanding delegates were recognized.
Beyond the MUN, we explored the historic Tower of London, visited Windsor Castle, and soaked in the academic charm of Oxford. The tour included a glimpse into Harry Potter filming locations and iconic landmarks of the university city. Throughout the trip, there was a perfect balance between history, entertainment, and cultural immersion.
This journey offered us invaluable experiences, blending learning with exploration. It fostered not just intellectual growth but also a deeper appreciation of British culture and global diplomacy.
