Mr Jatin Kumar is an MA, MPhil and Ph.D in Music. He has ten years of teaching experience with six years in VDJS. A talented musician he loves to compose albums with his band of singers in school. Sound engineering and sound designing are his other areas of expertise. Under his guidance the Audio-Visual squad comprising students has been handling light and sound for all major school functions efficiently. With a strong belief in the transformative power of music it is his dream to set up a recording studio in school. He wishes to equip students with performance, composition and theoretical skills and would love to see them take up music as a career path.
Ms Jayati is an exquisitely graceful classical dancer with Vishard Degree (Five-Years) from Prachin Kathak Kala Kendra, Chandigarh and Masters in Kathak and Diploma in Folk Dance. She has nine years of teaching experience with five years in VDJS. She is a gold medallist in Kathak for six times and has been relentlessly exploring the various genres of dance. She received the National Best Choreographer award by the Govt. of Haryana in 2018. She has also had the opportunity to work with celebrated artists like Prabhu Deva and Akshay Kumar.
It is her earnest desire to expand the scope and popularity of different cultural dances by providing opportunities to girls through student exchange programmes. Her hobbies include music, dance, travelling and adventure activities.
Megha is a dedicated Bharatanatyam teacher with a Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and she completed her Arangetram under the renowned Smt. Priya Venkataraman at Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi. Alongside her dance qualifications, she holds a TEFL (120 hours) certificate and has attended several IB Category 2 teaching workshops. Megha received the Chacha Nehru Bal Puraskar at the age of five, showcasing her early talent. She has performed extensively with the dance troupe Nrityadiksha and has presented solo performances throughout Delhi NCR, including for Indian and Chinese delegates at Hubei Media Week in South Asia. A lifelong learner, she has participated in workshops by prominent artists and has received scholarships from the Government of Karnataka for the past three years. Megha is passionate about fostering a local-to-global perspective in her students by exposing them to rich cultural dance forms while opening their horizons to global styles. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with loved ones.
