Daring the chilly wind of the winters, the VDJS Carnival was held on the campus on 20th January with great pomp and show. The mega fair was inaugurated by the Principal, Ms Naina Dhillon. The in-house and the outsourced stalls along with the visit by the VDJS alumni and the families of the VDJS staff added to the excitement of the students made the jamboree a huge success. The sumptuous pizzas, hot momos, noodles, chaat and bhelpuri, shakes, and juices satiated the inquisitive appetite of the Jindalites. VDJS’ famous Kadhi-Chawal stall was put up on the special request of the alumni. Games like tombola, shoot the balloon, floating coin, and the classic camel ride, celebrated the ever-high energies of the Jindalites. With shopping at Creative Hub, Bombay Shoppee, and Jewellery Shop and capturing special moments at the Photography Booth, girls pampered each other with gifts and framed photos. The Music on Demand and Disco DJ ensured the interminable tapping of the feet of the visitors throughout. The fiesta ended with enthusiasm skyrocketing as the Lucky Draw results were announced and the winners received the prizes that included IPADS, Smart watches, geared bicycles etc.
