On 27 Aug, 2019 students of Class XII visited the Jindal Global University and the Ashoka University in Sonipat. The first visit was at JGU where they attended lectures on Law, Business, International Affairs, Liberal Arts, Economics, Banking & Finance, Media & Communication. They were also apprised of the admission process, course content, major-minors, international faculty and exposure, specializations, career prospects and placement etc. The girls posed a number of queries pertaining to admission test, scholarships and eligibility criteria. This was followed by a campus tour.

The group also visited the Ashoka University and attended a session on subject orientation. They were given details of the Undergraduate Programmes offered in 200+ subject combinations in major-minor, double-major and interdisciplinary formats. They also learnt about the student exchange programmes with Ashoka’s partners Penn, Michigan, Yale, UC Berkeley, King’s College, London, where students can take credited courses. The round of the campus which involved interactions with faculty, current students and administrative staff helped them get first hand information of campus life.

The visit was very beneficial as students got to learn about the admission process of the two universities, the courses offered and the scholarship policy.
