A workshop was organised by Career Launcher for grade XII on "
Options after XII" in LRC on 7, March from 4-5:30 pm. The main speaker from Career
Launcher, Delhi Mr Anubhav motivated students and presented the current
scenario of different careers in India. He focused on 3 ' C ' s- Course, college and
career and explained selection process by merit-cut off and entrance tests. He
explained conventional careers in all streams and explained all streams are best
and no one is superior. He also explained Offbeat Careers to avoid very high
competitions He elaborated DU courses, top colleges course-wise and their cut-offs.
He emphasised on Law and Management are need of the hour and
evergreen careers. He explained various specializations in Management and
Law. He informed about IIM and its competition and suggested to do integrated
MBA from IIM Indore or IIM Rohtak to take easy entry. He explained difference
among BA-LLB, BSc-LLB, BCom-LLB, BSW-LLB and their placements from top law
colleges-National Law Universities. For entering there, CLAT is the main exam with
other all India law entrance exam and explain the pattern of these exams.
Students asked about various fields like-Engineering, architecture,
design, psychology and economics entrance exams. He interacted with Group
The activity of ' Learning Maths through game'.Students have wonderful curious and
enthusiastic interaction and were informed by the real competitive world. Speaker
made an impact and was able to motivate students to meet desired objectives, of
course, college and career selection to some extent.
