VDJS’ Fine Arts Department organised a workshop on Block Printing for students from Classes IX-XII from 22nd – 23rd July, 2024. It was piloted by Mr Vinod Raiwal, an expert in Block-Printing, Jaipur, wherein 50 students participated. Inquisitive Jindalites learned about the process of block printing on different fabrics and on sarees, dupattas, and table mates with beautiful flower patterns. Girls also learned how to make natural and synthetic pigments. The workshop was very engaging and the practical demonstrations helped the girls in chiselling out their skills in block printing.
